DARA LYNNE & NATHAN
The lodge at breckenridge
Dara Lynne & Nathan’s wedding day began at Breckenridge Lodge on a crisp October morning. Nathan popped the question at Colorado’s iconic Maroon Bells in White River National Forest and after over a year of planning, their big day was finally here.
Dara Lynne and her bridesmaids helped each other prepare their hair and make-up with a gorgeous view of the ski resort peaks as the fall colors were in full swing and golden Aspens lined the valley. Just down the hall, Nathan and his groomsmen popped a bottle of champagne and cracked jokes as he anxiously waited to see his bride.
In separate cars, they traveled up to Boreas Pass for their first look just as clouds swept in and snow began to fall ever so lightly! It was the first time I had seen snowfall this year and it added to the excitement of the moment. Even with a fur overthrow, the frigid temperatures were definitely a challenge. Despite the cold, it’s always so heartwarming when the bride and groom get to see each other for the first time on their wedding day and it’s definitely a moment I always look forward to. From sharing their intimate vows and clever personal touches at the reception, to the sincere speech from Dara Lynne’s father, which had everyone in tears, it was definitely a day to remember!
