We were thrilled to capture Lucy and Scott’s stunning Evergreen fall wedding at Evergreen Lake House in the mountains of Colorado. September is a truly magical time in the mountains and Evergreen is a sentimental place for these two, making it the perfect spot for their intimate and heartfelt celebration.
Lucy’s day began at a home in Evergreen with by her bridesmaids where they shared stories, and champagne while, Scott and his groomsmen prepared for the day at a nearby hotel.
The first look took place at Alderfer / Three Sisters Park in Evergreen, a picturesque location that offered panoramic views of snowcapped mountains. Autumn drove in with Lucy, and as they approached the park, they caught sight of the breathtaking scenery. Griffin and Scott had scouted the perfect spot for the first look, overlooking the green valley below and the majestic snowcapped mountains in the distance.
The sight of the red barn and gold aspens added to the incredible view. Their first look was a deeply emotional moment. They shared an emotional embrace, and Lucy surprised Scott with a new watch as a gift. We were lucky to stumble upon a couple of colorful aspens for their couples portraits, which was truly a stroke of luck to find both fall foliage and snow in mid-September.
After first look, everyone headed to the venue. Evergreen Lake House is a popular wedding venue located in Evergreen, Colorado. The venue offers a picturesque lakeside setting with stunning views of Evergreen Lake, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. The historic house on the property serves as an elegant and charming reception space, accommodating both small and large wedding parties.
The ceremony took place on the deck of the Evergreen Lake House, with the tranquil lake as a backdrop. Paddleboarders, kayaks, and canoes passed by in the distance, adding to the atmosphere. The deck was adorned with a gorgeously decorated floral arrangement, serving as a stunning backdrop for Lucy and Scott’s vows. Both bride and groom were overcome with emotion as they shared their intimate promises. A close friend delivered a poetic and deeply moving reading that left not a dry eye in the audience.
As the sun began to set, the newlyweds enjoyed cocktail hour with their friends and family. In the meantime, Fern | Floral Studio took to decorating Evergreen Lake House transforming the decor and adorning the tables with florals, garland and candles created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Lucy and Scott made their grand entrance, greeted by cheers and applause from their loved ones. They went straight into their beautifully choreographed first dance, setting the tone for a night filled with good energy for their special celebration. Scott took a moment to thank everyone for being a part of their wedding, with a special mention of gratitude to his stunning bride who had poured her heart into planning this special fall wedding at Evergreen Lake House.
Family and friends shared touching and funny speeches, leaving not a dry eye in the room. And then, it was time to hit the dance floor. The energy was palpable as Lucy and Scott lit up the dance floor!
The night was filled with energy as everyone celebrated the newlyweds. As a surprise, Scott even treated Lucy to a hilarious lap dance, and the crowd lifted the elated couple into the air, a testament to the love and support surrounding them. Congratulations guys!
