MORRISON, CO
We met up with Eliza and Dean on a warm September day for their beautiful Meyer Ranch Park engagement photos, a great spot that is situated just outside of Morrison. The days still felt like summer even though fall foliage was just around the corner. It’s always hard to predict exactly when color will be in full-swing as each year is a little different from the last. But to be honest, Eliza & Dean’s engagement session had more than enough color with their personalities alone.
Joined by their newly adopted pup, we trekked through the park stopping at scenic spots along the way as we traveled further up into thick forested areas of the park. The landscape transformed from meadows and aspen groves to towering lodgepole pine forests, which gave off sweet, earthy aromas. We caught glimpses of golden hour as the sun shone through the trees just enough for us to work with some beautiful pockets of light. We can’t wait for their summer wedding at Rist Canyon Inn.
