Lionsgate Event Center Wedding Photos – Jasper & Allison
We joined Jasper & Allison for their Lionsgate Event Center wedding on a crisp October day, bringing their classy vintage circus cabaret Halloween wedding to life in Lafayette, CO.
From the very beginning, Jasper and Allison wanted images with personality, movement, and artistry: the kind of photos that feel alive, with intentional composition and good light that actually does the moment justice. The Lionsgate Event Center wedding ended up being the perfect stage for all of that, elegant, fun, a little theatrical, and a venue that really supported the vision they had in mind!
Jasper and Allison met online and fell for each other over their mutual love of Beetlejuice, the kind of shared obsession that turns into inside jokes and movie quotes. They’ve been together for 11 years, building a strong foundation of a life together that has made them who they are today.
It was a beautiful, crisp fall Halloween morning at the venue when we showed up for Jasper & Allison’s Lionsgate Event Center wedding. We arrived early to get our gear set up, and the moment we stepped inside, we were genuinely blown away that the reception space was already put together!
Every place setting and centerpiece had thoughtful detail, and the vintage circus cabaret theme came through in a way that felt intentional. The centerpieces had that old-world, vintage circus flair, and everything tied together so seamlessly that you could tell a lot of care went into making the space feel immersive for their guests.
Allison got ready with her bridal party in the downstairs suite, and the whole morning had this relaxed, upbeat energy with friends mingling and that steady build of excitement as everything started to feel real.
The suite itself was a dream for photos. The stained glass windows filtered in this soft, colorful light that moved across the room in the prettiest way, gentle washes of color that made the space feel warm, vintage, and a little magical. It created such a unique backdrop for getting-ready moments.
Allison rocked a stunning black and red dress that was dramatic, elegant and bold! The black veil was the finishing touch with tiny bats and red flowers on the edge. It was such a cool detail: playful, stylish, and completely on theme for this Lionsgate Event Center wedding!
They chose not to do a first look so when Allison stepped outside for the ceremony, Jasper was floored. He covered his mouth in disbelief, and as she walked down the aisle with her dad, he wiped away tears. Jasper and Allison shared sweet, personalized vows, both including Beetlejuice in ways that felt meaningful to them. Then, they did a hand-tying ceremony before their first kiss.
Cocktail hour was packed with fun for guests. They had a character artist, a photo booth, circus performers serving cocktails, and someone making balloon animals, plus fun party favors sprinkled throughout. It felt like stepping into a vintage cabaret lounge, interactive, playful, elevated. This part of The Lionsgate Event Center wedding was such a perfect representation of them: committed to making sure their guests didn’t just attend a wedding, but actually enjoyed a full experience.
When reception began, the energy shifted into that warm, celebratory glow. Their first dance was carefully choreographed, followed by heartfelt family speeches that landed right in the feels. Then came emotional parent dances! And then… the newlyweds lead a Beetlejuice dance mob at their seats, just like in the movie, before they opened up the dance floor.
