The Landing at Estes Park Wedding Photos – Emma + Tyler
We joined Emma & Tyler for their The Landing at Estes Park wedding in May, kicking off our 2025 wedding season in Estes Park with spring in the mountains!
Emma and Tyler are a super sweet couple. They have a playful energy, and Emma is so creative. Her vision was a big part of helping their wedding day come to life. From the start, their Landing at Estes Park wedding felt like a perfect blend of heartfelt and fun. The morning felt calm, despite the clouds that were threatening to storm.
One of the reasons we love The Landing at Estes Park as an Estes Park wedding venue is because of how effortless the flow is since everything is close together. Emma and Tyler both got ready at the venue in separate getting ready spaces. Emma was in the Mills Suite, and Tyler with his groomsmen in one of the Riverfront Cabins. There’s something about it that feels home-like and cozy, and for their Landing at Estes Park wedding that’s exactly what so many couples want: a remote mountain vibe that feels welcoming, comfortable, and connected for their family and guests.
First touch
Before the ceremony, Emma and Tyler shared a first touch just outside of the Lady Bird Suite on the corner of the building. This part of the day was so emotional, one of those grounding moments where you can feel them take a deep breath and lean into the gravity of the moment.
During their first touch, they read private vows to each other. Emma was really throwing it all in, whatever happened in that moment, she was open to it. She even proposed the idea of doing a first look right there and then, but Tyler decided he wanted to wait until the ceremony.
After the first touch, we did separate wedding party portraits with the bridesmaids and groomsmen because the couple had not yet seen each other. The ladies were prepared with umbrellas!
Ceremony!
Emma walked down the stairway to the ceremony and it was the first moment Tyler caught a glimpse of her that day. He looked stunned and excited, then quickly started tearing up, eyes welling with tears. He wiped away a few quick tears as Emma walked down the aisle with her dad. Their ceremony was super sweet and emotional. They both read vows (again!), and you could feel the guests completely locked in. They sealed it with a kiss during their recessional, and guests blew bubbles!
Reception vibes
After portraits, everyone transitioned into celebration mode. Inside, the reception space felt warm and inviting, glowing chandeliers, soft light, and that cozy, gathered feeling that makes a The Landing at Estes Park wedding feel like a big dinner party with your favorite people.
There were toasts and then the night shifted into what they were clearly ready for: dancing. Emma danced all night and they were both equally excited to shake it! We took these two for a couple of blue hour portraits after their epic first dance, and it was the perfect breather.
We got one of our favorite scenes: the bride twirling in front of the chalets with the Rocky Mountains in the distance (actual magic), plus a couple of river shots that felt so calm and intimate compared to the energy inside.
