We’re Autumn and Griffin, wife + husband documentary style wedding photographers (former photojournalists) based in Fort Collins, and work as a Denver wedding photographer team for couples across Colorado.
Only after planning our own wedding, did we realize the most meaningful parts were the connections, energy, and unexpected moments – all the things you can’t actually plan for.

There are a few key differences between the two collections: the photographers, the perks, and the pricing.
First, the photographers. Autumn and Griffin are former photojournalists with backgrounds in the newspaper industry, which makes them especially attuned to real moments as they naturally unfold. The associate packages, by contrast, take a slightly more hands-on approach on the wedding day, with a more classic touch in the overall style.
Second, the perks. The documentary-style packages include more add-ons, such as a photo booth, ceremony video, and Just Married session.
Finally, the pricing. The associate collections are priced lower to better fit some couples’ budgets.
This is a new perk we just started offering and it’s designed to let you fully embrace your wedding day documentary experience, knowing you’ll have dedicated time for newlywed portraits afterward. Scheduled within 30 days of your wedding, this 2–3 hour session takes place in a beautiful outdoor mountain location.
In order to hold your date we require a signed contract and a deposit to make it official! We accept bookings on a first come, first served basis!
Couples typically book anywhere between 6-18 months in advance. Booking early not only guarantees availability but also provides peace of mind, allowing couples to focus on creating a seamless and stress-free experience. While this timeframe is common, we encourage you to reach out as soon as you have a date in mind, as popular dates and seasons tend to fill up quickly.
Documentary style is right for you if:
You want to embrace your day freely and immerse yourself in the experience fully and unapologetically.
You love artistic, candid, and timeless images, and you appreciate creativity, composition, and good lighting.
You want your fun and emotional moments captured as they happen, so you can remember how your day felt.

Documentary style is not for you if:

The truth is, most of your wedding day is completely out of your photographer’s control. Real moments don’t wait, and they can’t be staged and maintain real emotion.
You need a photographer who can read the room, spot meaningful moments as they happen, and capture them without missing a beat.
Not all photographers work this way. Some photographers miss crucial moments and then step in to recreate them. And in doing so, the authenticity is lost.
We’ve seen too many couples spend hours away from their guests for portraits or be asked to recreate moments that should have been captured as they happened.
